Gillian Marsland
CEO
Gill was appointed CEO of The Beam Trust in May 2021, she is also the Headteacher at Oughtrington Primary School where she has been since September 2007. Gill has supported a number of schools within Warrington for a variety of reasons and in different contexts. She has also worked with the Fallibroome Trust as a primary consultant.
Gill is extremely proud to be CEO of The Beam Trust, leading such a wonderful group of schools with dedicated staff, governors and children where collaboration is key to our further success.
The Trust comprises of four schools which vary in size, the largest of which has over 400 children and the smallest has a little over 100, all our schools are passionate about inclusion and success for all.
Lisa Peacock
Finance Consultant
Lisa runs Lighthouse Education Consultancy. She provides advice on strategic financial issues.
Jane Rooney
School Improvement
Jane is the current Headteacher at Statham Primary School and Nursery with over 30 years of primary experience. She is an outward facing professional who maintains strong links with Warrington Local Authority as the Primary Link for Children's Mental Health as well as fulfilling the role of Chair of the Warrington Association of Primary Heads and working with The Chancery Trust as a Headteacher mentor. Her role within The Beam Trust is to lead a team of professionals to implement appropriate support and training to achieve the sustained improvement of all four schools.
Donna Henshaw
CFO and Trust Business Manager
Donna is CFO and Trust Business Manager for the Beam Trust, working closely with Lisa Peacock and the School finance teams, whilst also providing support to the CEO. Donna also holds the position of School Business Manager at Oughtrington Primary School.
Victoria Eeles
Trust Administrator
Victoria is the Trust Administrator (part time). Victoria also works at Thelwall Infant School and Nursery as an Admin Assistant.
Rebecca Geldart
Trust Finance Assistant
Rebecca is the Trust Finance Assistant. Rebecca works closely with the CFO/Trust Business Manager and the Schools finance teams.
Rhian Hill
Trust Lead SENCO
Rhian is the Trust Lead Senco. The role involves working across the Trust to support Sencos to maintain a high quality, ambitious provision for pupils with SEND, that meets the individual needs of the communities that they serve.
Rhian is an experienced Senco who works with the local authority in a quality assurance role. This role includes leading a peer review team, advising on suitable provision and mentoring new Sencos. In 2022 she completed a PGDiploma in Attachment, Trauma and Mental Health, going on to achieve the National Mental Health Leadership award in 2023. Rhian is also in the process of completing a Masters in SEND.
Rhian's additional roles across the Trust include being a member of a trauma informed practice support network and a PRADA (positive relationships and domestic abuse) champion.
